The topic of discussion will be the Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors Act (The "DREAM Act"), a piece of proposed federal legislation that was introduced in the US Senate, and the US House of Representatives in March. This bill would provide certain undocumented immigrant students who graduate from US high schools and who arrived in the US as children the opportunity to earn conditional permanent residency.
